TRANSURBAN
MELBOURNE ROAD USAGE STUDY
Transurban engaged SIXTWO to design and develop a report outlining the results of their comprehensive Melbourne Road Usage Study. The study was the first real-world test of user-pays road charging in Australia. The study captured the responses of 1,635 participants to different user-pays charging options to gauge preferences towards and behaviours under a user-pays system.
SIXTWO worked with Transurban teams in Sydney and Melbourne to firstly develop a summary ‘Initial Findings Report’ (36 pages), which was presented by CEO Scott Charlton at the ‘Partnerships 2016: Infrastructure & Investment Conference’ in September 2016. Soon after, a more comprehensive 56 page report detailing the full study findings was prepared for presentation at Transurban’s 2016 Annual General Meeting.
