Following a change of ownership, Gartland Property engaged SIXTWO to take on the rebranding challenge with a clear design brief in place – to create a brand that was professional, stylish and sophisticated. A brand that not only appealed to key customer demographics, but also to a young team of property professionals, all of whom were energised by a new direction for the business.
By immersing ourselves in the business, we were able to gain an understanding of how they worked and what they believed. We also conducted a brand audit of their main competitors and found that they were all trying to outdo each other by being bigger, bolder and louder.
In response, we designed a brandmark that gave a subtle nod to the legacy brand, in the use of a serif typeface, but introduced a new level of sophistication with the use of a stylish mono colour palette and textured background images, portraying a luxurious, high-end look and feel.
